Perhaps it's amazing that Richard, and Mr Bloom - Levi - can sleep at all.  They've had an unnerving few weeks, been harassed by supernatural visitors, been haunted to within an inch of their lives.  And now, they've taken the first step into 'sin', into an intimacy that in these Victorian days is punishable by law.

And not only that, but their supernatural assailant may not be quite as gone and vanquished as they imagine...
